Since I started with Ixchange, we have gone on to separate chariots, ride the one we went to, and do soul-winning in an informal settlement, which was amazing because we were able to save so many souls and lead people to Jesus. The way people’s faces lit up after receiving the Lord into their hearts made me love soul-winning. The second time was just a social ride where everybody had the chance to fellowship and speak about the Word of God with one another.
At the start of my journey, we had the privilege to go on a week-long trip with all the different pastors and had so many God encounters. It blessed my life so much, and I’m so thankful that the Lord gave me the privilege to be so close to the word and like-minded people who are on fire for God.
On the first day, we had a wonderful riding experience with all the people as we stopped and shared coffee. I was blessed in having a single person in the vehicle with me, but we had so many great conversations. Upon our arrival, we spent a bit of time with the balls on the court. The food that was given to us was splendid. We had a session with one of the pastors and were blessed and convinced by the word that was brought to us. That evening we went to bed very early.
The second day, we were up early to have time in prayer with the congregation. On that same day, we had an action-packed day full of hiking, sightseeing, and a small waterfall. We took a short break for a bit of swimming because the temperature was very hot. We ate again and had a session once again in the Word with another pastor.
On day three, we went on a hike to the caves. The hike was so fun and challenging at the same time, and the reward for the hike was that we were able to go on a very high but amazing zipline that went over the forest, which provided us with a beautiful view of what God has made.
On our last day, we spent some time with one another playing volleyball and swimming. After that, we had a session once more that was full of glorious revelation. We played a bit of board games and started a bonfire for some melted chocolate and marshmallows. The whole trip was just a very big blessing for me, and I believe for all the other people who went with me. It was really a marker moment in my walk with the Lord.
